What we collect

Public pages do not require an account. Our hosting and security providers may process request metadata to deliver and protect the site. Contact and correction links open your own email client; this website does not receive a form submission or copy the message into a website database.

We use third-party services, including Umami, to measure aggregate page traffic and selected interactions such as catalog filters, comparisons, calculator runs, and outbound source clicks. Analytics are restricted to the production domain, exclude URL searches and fragments, respect Do Not Track, and are not used for advertising or cross-site profiling.

Why and for how long

We use delivery and security metadata to operate and protect the site, and email correspondence to respond to the request you initiated or to maintain an accurate publication. These are legitimate operational and editorial interests; where local law requires another basis, we rely on the steps you asked us to take or obtain consent. We do not use contact email for marketing. Correspondence is normally deleted within 12 months after the matter closes, unless an unresolved correction, security incident, dispute, or legal duty requires longer retention. Provider retention varies by service, plan, and configuration and is governed by the provider's applicable terms.

Audio and tool data

Current tools do not accept or upload audio. Temporary comparisons and cost calculations run in the browser and do not store personal inputs. Future audio tools must default to local processing and will require a policy update before release.

Service providers and transfers

We use third-party providers, including Zeabur for hosting and Umami for the limited analytics described above. A mailbox provider may process messages sent to our published addresses under its own safeguards; this website does not keep a separate message database. Data may be processed where these services operate. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of identifiable email correspondence through the contact page. We respond within 30 days where applicable. The website has no contact or correction form records to retrieve.
