Official-source analysis
What the published evidence means
Editorial evidence audit completed by a research agent · 2026-07-15
Even G2 is unusually clear about its recorder boundary: it captures conversation audio for live transcription but does not retain the original recording after transcription. That makes it a strong caption-and-summary tool, not a substitute for a recorder that preserves replayable audio.
Where it stands out on paper
- Conversate provides live transcripts in view and retains AI-generated summaries and action items in the companion app.
- The device privacy policy explicitly says original voice recordings are deleted immediately after transcription.
Important trade-offs
- Conversate requires Bluetooth, a paired online phone and remote processing rather than operating fully offline.
- Buyers who need to replay, archive or independently reprocess the original meeting audio cannot do so from G2.
We have not tested this device. This official-source analysis does not assess recording quality, transcription accuracy, comfort, app reliability, or real-world battery life. It is based on Even G2 official product page, Even G2 Conversate official support guide, Even Realities device and app privacy policy.
Known limitations
- The reviewed official sources do not disclose a release date.
- The reviewed official sources do not disclose storage capacity.
- The reviewed official sources do not disclose continuous recording endurance.
- The $599 valid-from date is the first official observation on 2026-07-15, not a vendor-announced launch date.
- The 35-language figure belongs to live translation; individual Conversate speech-language support differs by feature and locale.
