AutoMemo R is the simpler and less expensive member of SourceNext's current recorder pair. Its slide switch, angled tabletop design and month-plus standby claim favor dependable capture over on-device reading, while it retains the same 72-language cloud transcription, AI summary workflow and published plans as AutoMemo S. The tradeoff is that every transcript must be reviewed on a phone or computer.
Where it stands out on paper
- The physical slide switch and more-than-one-month standby claim suit users who prioritize immediate, low-friction recording.
- It keeps the same five-meter pickup claim, 72-language transcription and plan choices as AutoMemo S at a lower hardware price.
Important trade-offs
